Mary Catherine Davis
Mary Catherine Davis, LocMD, passion for hair started at the age of 16. This passion is how she helped support herself while in college at Tuskegee University. She earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology. After completed her Masters in Psychology at the University of Phoenix, she worked as a mental health professional, College Professor, part time Stylist and various retail jobs. Mary's passion for natural hair grew stronger. In 2016 she took a leap of faith to be a full time Natural hair stylist. In 2018, God blessed she and her husband Nyron with their first salon, Anna Kay's! Mary specializes in loc's, braids and extensions. Her first priority is the health of each client's hair!
Mary is married to Nyron Davis and has two sons, Nari and Nyles Davis.
Nyron Davis
Nyron Davis is the Image Cosultant at Anna Kay's. Otherwise known as Wholesum Hair/Naturally Beautiful (on Facebook), Anna Kay’s is designed for a holistic approach to hair care. Nyron never realized watching his grandmother press hair in the kitchen would one day, lead to a career choice for himself. Nyron knew what a hot comb was and how to properly cut a fade at the young age of 14. Three years later Nyron became a shampoo tech at "Images", the salon formally known as "The Atmosphere is Hair". There, Nyron was mentored by Kevin Kirk (2020 hair educator of the year recipient). Those 2 decades helped Nyron realize his value as a stylist. As a member of The KIRK Styling team, Nyron helped win 3 consecutive national hair competitions. In totality, he has won 4 national hair competitions. Nyron is married to Mary Catherine Davis and has two sons, Nari and Nyles Davis.
